The main purpose of the role is to be the point of contact for your allocated customer Product Group, understanding their requirements and our technical capabilities. You will manage day-to-day communications along with providing guidance and advice for any technical queries so that their needs and those of the in-house production team are met.

The role is a 37.5 hour working week Monday to Friday on-site based in Whittlesford, Cambridge, close to the Duxford Air Museum. Free parking is available on-site.

What we ask


You will:

  • Ensure works instructions and quotations are accurate and correct.
  • Promptly and efficiently follow up and deal with any queries, whether from the customer, the in-house print and Studio team, or from any Subcontractors.
  • On receipt of customer queries or instructions, evaluate and prioritise tasks, contacting the customer if any ambiguity, offering advice and solutions.
  • Keep your manager and customer fully informed at all times, taking account of possible conflicting business priorities.
  • Process and manage work to be printed in house and / or subcontracted and raise necessary paperwork from the MI system.
  • Make regular checks on the status of work to ensure the expected delivery date can be met, whether internal or external.
  • Support, guide and advise the customer in the event of any technical studio, pre-press or print queries so that their needs and those production are met.
  • Work as a team member providing cover of service for the department, co-operate and fully support other members of the team.

As the Account Manager, you will possess the following skills and expertise:

  • Customer service focused approach exhibiting a reliable and responsible attitude.
  • Well organised with excellent computing and technical skills.
  • Good problem solving/investigative skills.
  • Good time-management.
  • Process and results driven.
  • Flexible, adaptive and innovative.
  • A team player, but also able to work on your own initiative.
  • Working knowledge of Studio, Pre-press and Print Processes and Print Related Services is desirable.

Salary – up to £28,723 depending on experience
Location – Whittlesford, Cambridge
