We are looking for a Personal Assistant (PA), reporting to the Corporate Vice President (CVP) of R&D Strategy and Portfolio Management.

About the department

The R&D Strategy and Portfolio Management team is responsible for working with the R&D Management team in setting and communicating the strategic direction for the R&D organisation and ensuring data-driven R&D project portfolio decision making. Together, this supports the execution of the R&D and corporate strategies with the ambition to deliver optimal pipeline value for Novo Nordisk. To accomplish these objectives, the department works collaboratively with all functional areas within R&D as well as across the Novo Nordisk enterprise.

The position

As the CVP Personal Assistant, you are offered a challenging and exciting position in R&D Strategy and Portfolio Management. Your primary focus will be to support the CVP with scheduling, meeting planning, travel planning, governance support, drafting of meeting minutes and other ad-hoc tasks. Furthermore, your job tasks will include financial controlling, general support to the leadership team, stakeholder management, and communication with internal/external vendors.

You will be part of the R&D Strategy and Portfolio Management leadership team and ensure that the team meetings are efficiently planned and executed and that key actions are captured.

You will have frequent interactions with assistants throughout the organisation, arranging business meetings and will be a member of the Personal Assistants Group in R&D. In this role, you will participate in cross-functional collaboration and initiatives across the EVP area.

Qualifications

As a person you are positive and dedicated. You are service-minded, have a can-do attitude, enjoy working within tight deadlines and have excellent coordination skills. You have a very structured way of working and pay attention to details while keeping the greater overview in focus. You work in an independent and proactive manner and you always strive to find the best possible solutions and keep the success of the team at the forefront. You are flexible and thrive in a fast-changing environment, with frequently changing priorities and handle this with a sense of urgency, structure and overview.

You welcome new tasks and responsibilities. You communicate effortlessly, both verbally and written in English at business level, are highly skilled in MS Office and are a fast learner and quick to pick up new software skills.
