The position
As Project Director, you will be responsible for scoping, identifying, and implementing a new GxP-validated IT Learning Management System (LMS) supporting our ambition of being at the forefront of technology.

The Project Director possesses in depth knowledge from all relevant aspects of IT project management and has a substantial, successful proven track record – preferably within regulated environments. Main responsibilities include:
• Overall Project Management with responsibility for definition of program approach/strategy, overall quality of solution and execution according to scope, schedule and budget
• Act as key change agent for end-users highlighting areas of improvement
• Project expense management and budget follow up
• Vendor selection and vendor management, including management of Request for Proposal
• Design and execute efficient change management focusing on simplicity and seamless end-user experience

The project is highly interlinked with other quality and IT systems and has stakeholders across all parts of the business.

The Project Director will be responsible for the establishment, management and coaching of a project core group with direct & indirect reports.
Reporting to the VP of Training & Capability Building, the Project Director will delegate roles and responsibilities within the project team, resolve project team conflicts, resources needs and requests, and has:
• Ability to create business improvements in the entire NN organisation by ensuring delivery of key project milestones and end-user focused solutions
• Ability to establish cross organisational collaboration
• Experience within regulated environments (Quality Management systems) – preferably from pharma

Finally, the Project Director will be influencing, facilitating, and contributing to excellent departmental results in terms of customer and user satisfaction, as well as employee satisfaction among the internal project members.

Qualifications
To be a successful candidate, you hold a M.Sc. or equivalent from a relevant field, preferably within Project Management and/or Programme Management and have 10+ years professional experience, with +5 years employment with Project management as primary job content (80%).

In addition, you are expected to:
• Possess documented and excellent people management experience, combined with proactive and visible leadership style
• Have documented track record as IT project manager for larger IT projects
• Possess elaborate pharma business understanding and GxP experience
• Demonstrate proactive stakeholder management at all levels and ability to establish cross organisational collaboration
• Be proficient in English (both verbal & written)

As a person, you are self-driven and able to work independently and with high complexity. You are a team player, as part of management team as well as in the Project Manager role and are able to build strong partnerships. You possess excellent analytic skills, end-user mindset, innovative thinking and negotiation skills.

About the department
The position is anchored within our Training & Capability Building function which is part of Global People & Organisation. Here you will join an organisation of close to 100 dedicated colleagues and become an integrated member of the management team.
The area was established two years ago with the aim to standardise, modernise and simplify the way we run our regulated training activities globally.
