Would you like to join a team that is on the forefront of green energy transformation and is tasked with leading the energy transformation of Novo Nordisk Danish sites, away from fossil fuels?
The job
As our new Senior Project Manager you will take a leading role in the flagship projects that aim to transform our energy infrastructure. You will apply your experience to sketch and drive the projects from conceptual stage, tendering, through execution, to commissioning and hand-over. You will be working across all our Danish sites to transform current energy infrastructure and implement energy symbiosis’, district-energy networks, thermal storage, electrification and more. You will use your stakeholder management expertise to navigate the different seniority levels in Novo Nordisk, to drive the design and implementation to.
With these skills, you will be a driving part of the Incubator, ensuring that we implement tangible and significant steps towards achieving zero environmental impact.
Qualifications
You hold a master’s degree in engineering and have solid project management experience and can demonstrate solid knowhow in driving district energy and utility projects. You possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills, that you have put in to play when taking projects from early maturity stage through to implementation and handover. You have a broad and deep knowledge of the engineering landscape within facility management and are well-informed about the newest trends in this field of energy supplies across all engineering disciplines.

In Corporate Facilities, with 250 employees, we enable Novo Nordisk to focus on the core business by delivering simple and agile solutions for infrastructure, workplaces, utilities, and facility services as well as a major building portfolio. The job is anchored in the Circular for Zero Incubator, which is part of Corporate Facilities, and reports to the area Corporate Vice President. We manage a large portfolio of sustainability initiatives at multiple impact and maturity levels, some spanning the entire organisation. We drive ideation and work to systematically and strategically implement ‘Circular for Zero’ initiatives within the areas of energy supplies and facility management in general. We collaborate across business areas of Novo Nordisk and with external partners including consultants and academia.

- Have a masters degree in engineering
- Have experience within energy design and/or energy infrastructure
- Have at least 5 years of experience as project manager.
- Be structured and skilled in navigating high complexity and senior stakeholder management
- Be able to motivate yourself and your project team in situations where you encounter organisational resistance
