The position
As our new Senior Strategic Learning Lead you will set the standard for how to drive capability building for specific, critical segments as well as enterprise-wide solutions to build Novo Nordisk core capabilities (e.g. New Therapy Areas, Digitalisation, Innovation).

The Talent, Succession & Development Centre of Excellence consists of Global Learning & Development, Global Leadership Development, Digital & Analytics, and People Development Partnering and is a global unit with colleagues situated all over the world. We are committed to serving +50,000 colleagues globally with best-in-class solutions.
This position is anchored in the Global Learning & Development practice where, over the last 1.5 years, we have sharpened our strategic focus. We are zooming in on building Novo Nordisk core capabilities, driving selected global programmes and ensuring global skills development via a digital infrastructure, virtual instructor-led trainings as well as face2face thereby democratising access to learning across the company.

The position
As our new Senior Strategic Learning Lead you will set the standard for how to drive capability building for specific, critical segments as well as enterprise-wide solutions to build Novo Nordisk core capabilities (e.g. New Therapy Areas, Digitalisation, Innovation).
In this process, you will:
- Proactively engage with a variety of senior stakeholders and their teams to identify their unique take on the core capability in focus and co-create solutions.
- Develop innovative, state-of-the-art, end-user and business result-oriented learning solutions and delivery models through applied thought leadership within learning & development. Sometimes face-to-face, sometimes through communities, but always focused on applying the right learning technologies for the right context.
- Design blended learning initiatives on a big scale.
- Engage with business leaders to gain buy-in to experiments through Minimal Viable Products and you will guide the way, on how to ensure follow-up on business impact and learning effectiveness.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, we expect you to:
- Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in learning and development (L&D) obtained within a large, multi-national company.
- Master the full spectrum of digital learning solutions, from the strategy and identification up to the deployment of global solutions able to build the required skills and mindset.
- Be able to work strategically as well as very hands-on and always make the end-users your primary focal point.
- Have a strong business understanding and communication skills which allow you to bring stakeholders onboard with grace and authority, even on difficult topics.
- Be familiar with 5Di model or a similar design thinking approach to your learning solutions, products and initiatives.
