About the department
The Global Access to Care team is responsible for Novo Nordisk’s Defeat Diabetes strategy and the company’s efforts to improve access and affordability for underserved people. Our team is dedicated to making a positive and sustainable impact on patients and Novo Nordisk. We run partnership programs and work with patient organisations, NGOs, and other organisations to address access to care challenges for people with diabetes in low-resource settings around the world.
Global Access to Care is part of the Global Public Affairs and Sustainability department and the position will be based in our headquarter office in Bagsvaerd, Denmark.
The position
This position offers a unique opportunity within analysis and reporting, a chance to engage with internal stakeholders across the organization, and gain experience in overall project management. Meanwhile supporting the project managers with various day-to-day tasks across our various programs and initiatives.
Your tasks will include:
While supporting our work to effectively showcase our data and research which helps our work to improve access to chronic care for vulnerable people you will learn first-hand whilst building stakeholder relationships across the organization and strengthen your skills in project management, stakeholder engagement, and research and analysis.
Practicalities:
Students must be enrolled at a university through the entire internship period. Internships are remunerated if your educational track allows.
Qualifications
You are currently pursuing a Master's degree in International Development, Business Management, Finance, Economics, Political Science, or another similar field, with a minimum of 1-2 years of study remaining. A passion for Global and Public Health is a plus.
Prior work experience and familiarity with the MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint are an advantage.

The position

Your tasks will include:
- Analysing market data to find gaps and opportunities relevant for Novo Nordisk to engage in
- Driving and optimizing reporting processes as well as data transparency
- Creating presentations for the management team as well as internal and external stakeholder presentations
- Internal stakeholder management
- Other ad-hoc tasks
While supporting our work to effectively showcase our data and research which helps our work to improve access to chronic care for vulnerable people you will learn first-hand whilst building stakeholder relationships across the organization and strengthen your skills in project management, stakeholder engagement, and research and analysis.
Practicalities:
- Working hours: Full time
- Start date: 15 January 2023. (precise dates to be agreed upon)
- Internship period: a minimum of 6 months with the possibility to extend to 12 months
- A Danish full-time work permit is required

- Intellectually curious individual with a strong will to succeed and a lot of energy and the capacity to work both individually and in groups
- Outgoing person who gets the job done on time without sacrificing the quality of your deliverables
- Strong analytical skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communicator with fluency in spoken and written English
