The position

As our new Global Implementation Lead, you will oversee the team of Implementation Partners who will act as dedicated resources in our digital product teams. You will lead and coordinate the Implementation Community of Practice (CoP), and act as point of contact for implementations and as informal daily leader and sparring partner to the Implementation Partners.

You will be responsible for team processes, build-up of best practice toolbox for implementation and in close collaboration with the Implementation Partners to ensure business value realisation and quality of the globally scaled solutions.

Main responsibilities of the Global Implementation Lead are:

  • Setting the direction for implementation and anchoring of digital product in Product Supply
  • Acting as owner of the implementation CoP, and ensure collaboration and continuously development of our Implementation Partners
  • Playing a key role in our Lean Portfolio Management, product funnelling and throughout product maturity into scale, and ensure feedback loops with our UX & Innovation team
  • Establishing, maintaining, and continuously developing the best practice toolbox for implementation
  • Follow and support implementations locally incl. site visits

Apart from that, you will be following-up on business value realisation and reporting to Business Owners and driving the strategic approach for implementation in collaboration with Implementation Partners, Product Owners, and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

We are looking for an ambitious and proactive colleague who can contribute to the team both professionally and personally. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in most of the following skills and experiences:

  • 5+ years of experience within project and/or team management combined with M.Sc. with speciality in people and change management
  • Implementation of IT/digitalisation solutions preferably from larger projects
  • Team management experience (could be informal leadership)
  • An eye for spotting areas of improvement and a drive to get things done
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, and excellent communication skills
  • Experience from global organisation

As our corporate language is English, we expect you to be fluent both in written and spoken. As this is a global role, it is an advantage if you also speak other languages, especially Chinese, Portuguese, or French. Due to our global presence, you should be ready to travel to our global sites on a frequent basis.

About the department

Product supply Manufacturing intelligence is an area of digital experts collaborating and co-creating with deep knowledge colleagues in the Novo Nordisk’s Manufacturing processes. We are working across SVP areas and supports the entire global network of manufacturing sites in product supply. The area is divided in four departments with the main capabilities of: Data science, UX & Innovation, Development - and Programme Management, where this position is anchored.

The Programme Management department is responsible for driving programme and product management of the central manufacturing intelligence portfolio, servicing manufacturing shop floor. The team is responsible for DevOps and harmonising the manufacturing intelligence product portfolio with the aim for seamless integration of digital products in Line of Business. Further, the team is driving the agile framework in Product Supply via Agile Coaches, Product Owners, Product Managers, Implementation Partners and Scrum Masters, and aim to strengthen the capabilities across these functions by collaboration and CoP.
