Head of Device Manufacturing and Sourcing expansion
Would you like to play a critical role within our device business? Novo Nordisk is currently on an exciting growth journey. As part of this, we are expanding our device platforms, and we are looking for the right person to lead the expansion and establish new capacity. This is a rare opportunity to impact a new business area in Novo Nordisk while making a difference for millions of patients around the globe.
The position
In this newly created role, you will be overall responsible for building a new area within Novo Nordisk Product Supply. The area will be carrying out sourcing and manufacturing of several new devices. You will also be working with new devices and technologies in close collaboration with the existing device manufacturing and sourcing organisation (DMS). This includes establishing a new site, which will run parallel to our existing facilities.
We manage the global supply chain of high-quality components for Novo Nordisk’s device production. We are a modern technology organisation that proactively drives the purpose of Novo Nordisk and delivers the highest quality to patients in a sustainable and efficient way.
You will be responsible for ensuring that existing operations continue to run, for building a new organisation and running the large-scale greenfield project of expanding our manufacturing facilities.
You will report directly to the Senior Vice President of our area Contract Manufacturing & Sourcing, Devices & Sustainability and be a part of a leadership team consisting of 11 leaders.
Qualifications
You hold a Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a similar graduate degree within a relevant field backed by 10+ years of experience with management and operations management in the pharmaceutical industry. You have experience from complex and business critical senior leadership roles in an international environment.
You have good experience collaborating with CMOs and you have extensive experience in running large, complex projects, and are motivated by starting up new things and treading unfamiliar ground.
We expect you to be ambitious, driven and have excellent collaboration skills, combined with an ability to make decisions and set direction. In order to succeed in the role, it is important that you also possess great communication and presentation skills.
