Are you motivated by process redesign and optimalisation in the area between Supply Chain and Finance? Would you like to support the strategic direction for Novo Nordisk’s O2C process and be part of deployment across our sales affiliate? Then we have an excellent opportunity for you. Join us! The position We are looking for a student with an interest in business process design with a global reach, a person with a drive to get the day-to-day business processes efficiently in place while supporting the commercial operation in developing new capabilities and insights for the organisation. You will support our brand-new Global Order to Cash organisation with reaching the goals of 2023; here among getting the right governance model in place, organisational anchoring, communication around Order to Cash strategy, driving results for O2C end-to-end benchmark, structure sustainable solutions e.g., training platform, drive projects on KPIs, implementation of new Revenue Management system etc. Supporting O2C project managers with day-to-day project work; MoM, follow up on actions, and ad-hoc tasks Practical support with planning around meetings and onsite events; agendas, booking of hotels, meetings, locations Presentations: prepare StC presentations, sales, and videos for project material, improving communication around the project and solution Drive own workstream; with analytical tasks, communication, calculating business cases, developing, and reviewing scenarios, etc Practicalities: Starting date: May/ June as you are reaching the end of your current semester. We expect you to be on a break from your current study to be able to work full time. Internship period: 5-6 months This is a paid internship, provided that your studies allow remuneration. Novo Nordisk’s fixed salary is 12.000 DKK per month. Qualifications You are currently studying for your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field. Good understanding of Supply Chain Management, Finance, and IT Strong analytical strengths and good process understanding Ability to link the dots with high performance in communication (translating complex solutions into simple way slides/stories) Flair for technology, process management, and interdepartmental collaboration Experience in SAP SD or MM module as a user experience with IT projects As a person, you are curious, proactive, high-performing, business-minded, and interested to initiate and drive projects that will positively impact our finance infrastructure development. You have a flair for IT, a good sense of humour, a high level of energy, and full proficiency in English. You have the drive to surprise us with your background and personality! Knowledge/exposure to Order to Cash process in SAP: Order Management, Credit Management, Order Fulfilment, Orders Shipping, Customer Invoice, Account Receivable, Payment Collection & Reporting, and Data Management is a plus. About the department Order to Cash is a part of our Digital Finance and Architecture team, a new center of excellence for financial data and infrastructure in Global Finance, creating the bridge between financial business needs and Novo Nordisk’s finance systems and digital solutions. The job is located in Novo Nordisk Headquarters in Bagsværd. You will be part of a group of eight dedicated colleagues with a wealth of experience from a broad range of Finance fields from within and outside of Novo Nordisk with a common drive to propel our finance infrastructure into the future and prepare our company for our next major finance system evolution. Novo Nordisk is on a digitalisation journey with the aim of leveraging our current SAP solution, preparing for our future SAP S/4 HANA as well as enabling scalable expansion to new solutions by simplifying processes and creating better transparency of data. Order to Cash in Novo Nordisk is defined as all commercial processes from Customer Creation to Cash Collection. We operate across several functional areas to improve the value creation of the entire Order to Cash process to a new level by improving standardisation, improve system utilization while allowing full integration of local processes into the core ERP system. The key areas across the operations are pricing, market access, supply chain, product supply, accounting, finance, and IT.
