The position We are looking for a Legal intern for our Litigation Team. In the upcoming fall, you can expect to have the opportunity to work on a wide range of exciting tasks and assume a high degree of responsibility. You will support our senior management on strategic projects, global processes, and other ad hoc tasks related to managing the global organisation. As a Project management intern in the Litigation team, you will collaborate on the following tasks: Assist with discovery, including identification and review of documents, responding to subpoenas, etc. Assist with the RfP process for counsel selection review engagement letters; prepare meeting slides Support with budgets and invoices Conducting legal research and ad hoc tasks In this role, you will have varied workdays where you will be responsible for structured analysis, driving and coordinating communication activities, and having a high degree of global stakeholder engagement. Practicalities: Internship period: 6 months Working hours: Full-time, 37 hours a week Start date: 1 August 2023. Internships are remunerated (12.000 DKK) if your educational track allows A Danish full-time work permit is required for non-EU citizens (please note that there is a work permit fee of app. 3.000 DKK) The candidate must be able to relocate to Denmark and obtain a CPR number (Please read more information about Danish Immigration Law). Qualifications We are looking for students interested in developing their project management skills. You are currently studying for your Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related fields. General knowledge about project management and experience in engaging with different stakeholders Good academic credentials and relevant work/extracurricular activities experience next to your studies Strong analytical mindset, and comfortable combining your qualitative and quantitative skills Organised, structured, and able to communicate clearly and concisely with different stakeholders Take leadership naturally and have high professional expectations for yourself and your colleagues Strong work ethics and thrive in a busy work environment, where you are able to bring a “can-do” attitude Fluency in spoken and written English Being comfortable with the MS Office package and flair for IT and software implementation might be considered an asset, as well as being interested in the legal field, but it is not a strict requirement. About the department Global Legal & Patents is located in the Head Quarter of Novo Nordisk in Bagsværd, Denmark with around 80 employees in Bagsværd, Denmark, and approx. 300 globally. We are responsible for advising and supporting the business on various legal matters and driving strategic projects to the benefit of the function and our stakeholders.
