The position As a manager for Facility Services, we expect you to be able to provide Novo Nordisk with the most optimal, compliant, and cost-effective facility services across sites and business units in DK, while expanding and leading the organization the Novo Nordisk Way. Your tasks as a manager for Facility services are among others: Ensuring conceptual development and continuous improvements within scope and compliance. Providing valid data, manage budgets and professional presentation materials as base for key stakeholders’ strategic decisions. Directing, advising, planning, expanding and managing cross-organisational-driven services operated by external service providers. Drive a motivational and quality mind-set in the unit. Identifying and living up to internal customer demands including GxP and other legal requirements specified by our internal customers. Driving the development and maintain planning processes and tools, including the necessary quality management tools and documentation. Qualifications You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree related to Facility Management, with minimum of 5 years work experience in equivalent job, preferable in Denmark. Other success criteria are: Knowledge and understanding of Soft FM services in the pharma industry as example GxP. Good cooperative skills, and ability to communicate thoughts and ideas both in writing and verbally, with proficiency in Danish and English. Ability to create results through personal drive, commitment, effectiveness, and open management. Analytical and problem-solving skills to recognise issues and find valuable solutions, with a good sense for economics. Ability to mentor and transfer skills to employees and support their development. On a personal level, you are energetic and perseverant, able to stay focused when working under pressure with ability to communicate at all levels in the organisation.
About the department You will lead a department in National FM Operations. Your department Facility services consists of 11 employees who specialize in managing services and contracts with external suppliers within 'Food Services', 'Office cleaning & InHouse services', 'GxP Cleaning', and 'Post and packages'. For the time being we cover contracts over 37 canteens serving 12.000 meals daily, 400.000 sqm of office cleaning, and approximately 500.000 sqm. of GxP cleaning, and distribution of around 300.000 packages a year. As Novo Nordisk is expanding, we are taking in more and more facilities, to service in the years to come. We are around 30 other bright people in National FM Operations, who is taking care of facility management and building maintenance across all Novo Nordisk sites in Denmark. We are based in Bagsværd, under the VP for Facilities & Workplaces and the CVP for Corporate Facilities. In National FM Operations, we have around 2500 contingent workers, who is supporting us, maintain a high standard of the building facilities.
