Are you ready to be part of an exciting journey to design, scope, and build our new state of the art QC Laboratory facility, which will secure the highly needed QC capacity and development for the future? Are you passionate and motivated to be in the front lead of finding the best and cutting-edge solutions for the laboratory of the future? Then this is a unique opportunity as director to head up the Engineering & Facility & Utility team including external engineering and construction partners. About the department The project organisation is organised in the Fill & Finish Expansions unit and consists of a PVP (Project Vice President), with the overall project responsibility. You will have a direct report to the PVP and be part of the Project Leadership Team. Your department will have two main areas “Head of Execution” and “Head of Engineering & CQV”. The project will build a multi-functional QC laboratory at Novo Nordisk, with a total area of 44.000m2 and the future workplace for 650 QC colleagues. Both chemistry and microbial QC laboratories will be established, as well as development laboratories within these areas. When functional, the laboratory will deliver analytical support to production units across Novo Nordisk, covering products for treatment of diabetes, obesity, and rare blood- and endocrine disorders. As Project Director for Engineering, Facility & Utility you will have overall responsibility for the Novo Nordisk side of the facility design and construction. This includes leading and executing the full construction from design to finish in close collaboration with our external engineering and construction partners and a team of professional Novo Nordisk leaders, specialists, and users. Your main tasks will include, but surely not be limited to: Leading design, construction, and execution of the Engineering, Facility, and Utility processes in close cooperation with, and oversight of, the engineering and construction partners. Driving construction management and execution, including HSE, and ensuring the setting of safety goals and that they are executed. Ensuring the development and setting of environmental & sustainability goals and that they are executed. Responsible for 3D/BIM digital strategy and execution. Drive and lead project management and project execution. Qualifications Ideally, you have the following qualifications or similar: You possess significant experience in driving construction projects of large-scale facilities from beginning to end. You are skilled at managing complex projects with a wide range of internal- and external stakeholders. You can understand the impact of company strategies, as well as participate in proactively and efficiently implementing these into all areas of the project. You provide clear goals and purpose for the entire facility area and the project team members so that the project secures effective use of time and resources and builds employee motivation. You have demonstrated that you can shape and execute a strategy in a complex environment. As a person, you embrace new ideas and changes and are not afraid to take the lead and bring new solutions, processes, and improvements forward. You are a skilled communicator, and you find it natural to establish new relationships across teams and departments.
