Do you have what it takes? As our new Vice President, you will report to the CVP DD&IT Staffs and play a crucial role by providing strategic leadership to the DD&IT Staffs organization with 7 direct reports and 85+ indirect, partnering with the Novo Nordisk Finance, Legal, Procurement and Global Solution organization to develop sustainable digital, data and IT solutions that involve end users across Novo Nordisk.
As a maternity cover position, your starting date will be ideally November with 1 year duration. In your new role, you will be able to interact with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk, as you will be the link between the business and IT. Primarily as responsible for all digital implementations of Finance, Legal and Global Solutions, but also as part of larger strategic projects, such as the SAP S/4HANA programme. In your new role, your key responsibilities will include: Serve as the IT Business Owner and overall responsible for the FLGS Agile Release Train consisting of 11 agile teams and approximately 100 members Chair the DD&IT Global Finance Portfolio and be responsible for the Global Finance Target Landscape, co-orchestrating large-scale implementations in complex stakeholder landscapes Lead, engage and develop employees in your own area and facilitate employees from FLGS as a servant leader Act as a member of the DD&IT Staffs Management team Serve as a Steering Group member or chair on global, strategic projects/Epics in and outside Global Finance, identifying needs and opportunities for overall strategic changes in the area
What are we looking for?
To succeed in this role, you should have at least 8 years of work experience in Novo Nordisk or other similar companies, ideally in IT or Finance, with solid leadership experience, stakeholder management capabilities, and a proven track record of creating business results. We are a dedicated area of around 90 people in Denmark and 110 in India, responsible for the implementation & development, support & maintenance and operation of IT projects and applications for the DD&IT Staffs area in Novo Nordisk.
