Novo Nordisk is seeking an Associate Manager to lead a team of 13 dedicated project managers, driving excellent project management, in a rapidly growing project portfolio within technique, building, and infrastructure. The Position As an Associate Manager you will be responsible for driving excellent people development meanwhile your team delivers high-quality management for projects of varying size, budget, and complexity. You will work closely with operating departments, local service centers, and other relevant departments in Novo Nordisk to ensure successful project design and execution. With a rapidly growing project pipeline that includes projects within technique, building, and infrastructure, you will have the opportunity to drive innovation and change through development projects and business cases. The main tasks will be to: Manage Corporate Facilities (CFa) Project team 2: • Financial responsible for all cost centers related to the department activities, +10 mDKK • Ensure continuous professional development of the Project team, driving talent development and succession Be responsible for driving a professional project management office: • Maintain transparent project pipeline for CFa project pool (5-year outlook), including forecast on cost/invest-split • Ensure prioritization of projects and secure alignment with Site Development Plans and CFa strategy • Responsible for managing the CFa project pool, 100 MDKK in close cooperation with CFa projects team 1 • Project management (max 200 mDKK): Projects in office buildings, relocations, exterior maintenance, and infrastructure projects on all DK sites within CFa scope • Ensure professional management of projects driven by the department eg. timeline, scope, quality, budgets, and stakeholders • Manage stakeholder relations, incl. providing the CFa Leader team, Site Coordination Forums, and House Owner’s Associations with reliable information and business analyses Centre of excellence within building identity and activity-based working: • Manage ownership of the building identity manual in Novo Nordisk (global guideline) • Share best practices and offer ad hoc advisory globally on office design and operationalization Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have: • Min. 2-5 years managerial experience in a similar position • Ability to mentor and transfer skills to employees and develop these • Good cooperative skills; knows how to communicate thoughts and ideas both in writing and verbally • Created results through the personal drive, commitment, effectiveness and open management • A high level of energy and perseverance, and the ability to stay focused when working under pressure • Ability to communicate at all levels in the organization is crucial • Have solid experience in the construction industry (a plus) • Have advanced level in both spoken and written English As a person, you possess strong cross-functional leadership skills, including the ability to build and maintain relationships and trust, as well as get commitment from both internal and external stakeholders. Your good supplier relationship skills enable you to be continuously, but constructively, demanding of suppliers' performance. You have solid analytical skills and significant practical experience in analyzing complex topics, as well as high-level technical and financial knowledge and experience. You have strong interpersonal skills and solid leadership skills within your team, and your advanced negotiation skills combined with a diplomatic approach enable you to drive successful outcomes.
