Then apply today as you might be the Senior Manager we are looking for to join our Sourcing Intelligence & Quality (SI&Q) Centre of Excellence in Strategic Sourcing Inbound Materials and Services (SS IMS). The position As Senior Manager Sourcing Intelligence & Quality, you will be heading up a team of 19 qualified individuals divided in specialist clusters, that are part of our Centre of Excellence (CoE). They are focussing on Sourcing Analytics, Financial Advisory, Business Intelligence, Quality, Capability Building and Management Consulting & Support. You will ensure strategic direction setting with the team, appropriate staffing on responsibilities of your team, high quality deliverables, sparring on your team members’ assignments and people development. Besides leading the team within established cluster priorities, your responsibilities also include: Facilitating organisational strategy creation and ensuring follow-through on set direction Establishing and staffing ad hoc projects in response to changed external circumstances or optimization opportunities across the two Sourcing units Collaboration with leaders of the other CoE functions in GSO and SS IMS, to secure an aligned approach and well-integrated solutions towards their stakeholders Guiding and representing the SS IMS management team in budget creation and adherence Representing the Corporate Vice President (CVP) area in various networks across Senior Vice President (SVP) area, (e.g. Strategy Network, LEAN network, and Business Support Network) You will report to the CVP of SS IMS. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we imagine you: Hold a relevant academic degree in business, engineering or any other relevant field Possess a minimum of 8 years of work experience, out of which 3 have been in a people management role and same or other have 3 have been in a business support function Be familiar with strategic project-oriented work and management reporting Demonstrate excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken Some of your experience was obtained in a pharma, sourcing and/or supply chain environment. As a person, you are driven by leading and developing a team and thrive in supporting others in creating high-quality deliverables. While you are known for a high commitment to your assignments, you find pride in delivering on them via your empowered and capable team. You enjoy and excel in sparring with both management peers and the members of your team. You have a structured approach to your work and an eye for the details. About the department SS IMS and GSO (in combination referred to as Strategic Sourcing (StSo)) are two strategic sourcing units, with the mission to equip PS (Product Supply) with suppliers, service providers and CMOs, to produce and deliver high-quality products to our patients. Offset in our category strategies, the two units connect external capabilities and opportunities, with PS’ internal sourcing needs on a time horizon of up to 10 years. Via sourcing, negotiation and contracting activities, StSo connects market capacity of suppliers with the needs of Product Supply. We secure alignment with Novo Nordisk values and strategies, by having a number of Centers of Excellence supporting the Category Management roles. Sourcing Intelligence & Quality (SI&Q) CoE is providing direction, sparring and support to StSo with Sourcing Analytics, Financial advisory, Business Intelligence, Quality, Capability building and management support. You will enter a fast-paced and ambitious environment where we collaborate closely with stakeholders across Novo Nordisk. You will be located in Bagsværd during 2024 (and Taastrup from 2025), where you will join the SS IMS management team and have your competent team welcoming you.
