The position
As Security Officer you will work from our Alarm Response Centre in Bagsværd together with your new colleagues. The job tasks include: Handling of alarms in various alarm systems following correct protocols and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. Monitoring of technical alarms Inspection rounds Ad hoc Security tasks at meetings and other events
Several of these tasks include both written and oral communication in Danish as well as in English. Furthermore, you will be part of a responsibility group working on various projects and tasks to optimize our Security work processes.
The Alarm Response Centre is never closed therefore the workplan is a three-shift plan, where we work 3 out of 5 weekends.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, we imagine that you have the following qualifications: Training as a guard or the equivalent within the security industry Experienced user of alarm systems Fluent in both written and spoken English and Danish You have a driver's license for a standard motor vehicle, and you can provide documentation for no criminal record.
Moreover, it is an advantage if you have: Additional security training Experience from the medical industry
As a person you work independently, feel comfortable taking responsibility and make decisions for you and your team. You enjoy finding new ways of working smarter as well as you thrive with working in systems.
You are service-minded and polite when meeting both our internal employees and external guests, and you are grounded and able to stay calm when put under pressure.
About the department
We are a team of 29 colleagues manning the Novo Nordisk Alarm Response Centre and ARC Support Team. We monitor alarms (AIA, ABA and technical alarms) and carry out security tasks on the various Novo Nordisk sites.
Our Alarm Response Centre is the global hub for all Novo Nordisk crisis handling, and you can expect a busy and versatile workday. As a Security Officer you are in contact with practically all areas of Novo Nordisk.
