You will be based in our headquarter in Gentofte, working closely with your team of 5 Category Managers in supporting the business, while assisting and developing the department. Solid assistance to our global procurement department
Our procurement department provides contracts, savings and optimization to the business in many different entities around the globe and geographies within a wide array of procurement fields. You will be the 'glue' of the function, proactively ensuring structure, documentation and overview, while supporting the Category Managers agenda. Together with other members of the procurement team, you will be involved in the ongoing task of ensuring compliance and procurement support to a publicly listed company with operations globally. Your main stakeholders will be legal, finance and all our suppliers from NDA, to signing the contract. You are a good communicator with a constant eye for detail, you like to be the point of contact for many colleagues and suppliers and take pride in the administrative work. You will add value by organize the administrative workload and other tasks and processes. Key words describing the job are, variety, administrative, trust and empowerment.

Your main tasks include:

  • Ensure use of all compliance proper master data and provide data cleansing in preparation of roll-out
  • Preparation of various documents, including corporate documents and contracts, based on templates
  • Participation in the department’s ongoing and ad hoc projects, from secure suppliers signing NDA’s to finalizing the agreement with legal and signatures from both parties
  • Assist on contracting process
  • Administrative tasks with finance, savings calculations and approval
  • Support the Category Managers in negotiation and tenders
  • Have fun

You will be working at our head office in Gentofte, Denmark, reporting to the Director of Indirect Procurement. The position is full time.

Administrative experience, as assistant or coordinator in a corporate setting
We are looking for a talented colleague with a solid and preferably broad experience, preferably in a corporate setting. You have worked in an international environment and have excellent skills in administrative work and spoken fluent English. You have a good understanding of administrative thinking and deliver final products in a high quality. You are well organized by nature and a strong ‘finisher’. IT is a natural part of your everyday life and you are a skilled user of Microsoft Word, Excel and systems in general.
You are service-minded and can commit yourself to a busy day with a variety of tasks and with several points of contact in the department as well as outside. As a person, you like working together with a team of committed colleagues, while you also master working independently and can prioritize your tasks. You like to take the initiative and to be given the responsibility.

You will join a very dedicated procurement team which has ambitions and budgets, they all take pride in achieving. We are busy and continue to have exciting and important tasks ahead of us. The procurement department is involved in the world-wide business of Scandinavian Tobacco Group, which is focused on cigars and pipe tobacco.
