The position As our new Project Manager, you will play a key role in the early phases of Operational Readiness of our new production facility, being responsible for project management within people strategy, facility & maintenance, QA & regulatory and operational planning.
Your key tasks and areas of responsibility may be summed up as: Responsible for Operational Readiness activities like recruitment, training, facility readiness, developing overall maintenance and calibration strategies, service contracts, inventory procurement, regulatory compliance etc. Overall project management and execution including integration and cooperation with other organisations. Identifying competence needs and facilitate resource allocation to drive progress. Ensure focus on quality and compliance in developing and implementation of strategies.
In this position, you will be part of a major expansion project with high ramp-up focus and an international and complex stakeholder landscape. The work will have a direct impact on future launches and delivery of our new products in Novo Nordisk to the benefit of our patients. We are constantly striving for professionalising and simplifying our ways of working, so you will be able to make your mark on how we work with robustness, optimising cost and reducing complexity in our processes.
Qualifications To be successful in this role, we imagine you have the following qualifications: A technical degree within engineering, pharmaceutical science or similar. 5-10 years of experience within production or related industries, e.g. as a consultant or within projects. Experience from the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage but not a requirement. Experience within Project Management, ideally experience with setting up processes or standards. Fluent in English both written and spoken

You are good at building relations across cultures and can get commitment from both internal and external stakeholders. Apart from having strong communication and stakeholder management skills, you are proactive in your daily work and able to manage your own time. You work independently, like taking responsibility and enjoy a dynamic and ambitious environment with many simultaneous tasks and changing priorities. About the area You will be joining Fill & Finish Expansions. The area is anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approximately 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees. Fill & Finish Expansions is a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and build all major fill & finish expansion projects across PSQIT to serve the needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our facilities with the use of modern technology. We are setting the standards for facilities of the future, designing factories and processes we will still be proud of 20 years from now. About the department Novo Nordisk is significantly increasing its manufacturing capacity across all areas to serve many more patients in the coming years. To this end, a new Device Manufacturing & Sourcing business unit (DMS II) has recently been created to ensure medical device component manufacturing and pre-assembly capacity for future growth. In the years to come, we are focused on establishing a new global manufacturing network consisting of Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs) and high-volume manufacturing capacity internally. Our DMS II organisation has just started its growth journey, and this is a unique chance to be part of a start-up environment within a large multinational organisation.
