As we are growing, we are looking for a Project Manager to become a part of our project team Sustainable Utility Projects. You will primarily be working with our operations personnel in Service Centre Kalundborg, and you will be responsible for a portfolio of utility and energy optimization projects while ensuring that our production facilities run as smooth as possible.

The projects are part of our sustainability portfolio and will primarily relate to technical supplies (steam, water, cooling, power supply etc.) that will ensure the right conditions for Novo Nordisk's production environments, which places high demands on navigating controlled environments with high documentation requirements and strict deadlines. Furthermore, you will be a part of ensuring that we are always in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and procedures. You will work closely with stakeholders on different levels across the organisation to coordinate and plan stable execution of the projects.

The position is based in Kalundborg but as we work cross organizational, you are also expected to potentially execute on projects in both Bagsværd, Måløv and Hillerød.

Qualifications

  • You have a Master’s degree (mechanical engineer, technical engineer, marine engineer, construction engineer or equivalent).
  • You have a minimum of 3 years of experience from working with utilities, preferably from the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Solid understanding of Project Management.
  • You speak fluent English and Danish is considered a strong advantage.

It would be considered an advantage if you have experience as a Project Manager and leading technical projects working with either black utilities, power supply or entrepreneurial disciplines as excavation and piping.

It would be considered an advantage if you are able to speak, read and write in Danish as the majority of the external suppliers are only speaking Danish.

As a person, you are proactive, committed, and passionate about delivering high quality to your customers on the agreed time. With a curious and innovative mindset, you identify opportunities for improvement and can independently make decisions and stand by them. You are a self-starter with excellent planning and organization-skills, which enable you to continuously set direction, keep an overview of the state of progress and prioritize accordingly. You are positive and flexible towards changes and with the mindset that there is no task that is too big or too small. Lastly, you have strong leadership and communication skills and a proven ability to network, build trust in your relationships and get commitment from internal and external stakeholders.

About the department

The department is part of Corporate Facilities (CFa), which provides facility services to all areas in Novo Nordisk in Denmark. We are a total of 255 employees located in Bagsværd, Gentofte, Hillerød, Måløv, Søborg and Kalundborg. As Project Manager, you will become a part of Operations & Maintenance for PS and R&D, which consists of ambitious colleagues who work dedicated to provide the best service to our Novo Nordisk facilities.
