The position As an Automation Support, you will analyze, design, program, and commission automation systems, particularly programming process solutions in ABB SattLine and 800xA. You will support technical reviews, participate in and coordinate core technical meetings. Furthermore, you will support FAT/SAT tests, engineering, commissioning, and testing of DCS and instrumentation. Also, in your scope will be supporting preventive/corrective/breakdown maintenance and turnarounds. You will support interfacing and troubleshooting drives, sensors, control hardware and system deviations. Your role will be of great strategic importance to Novo Nordisk with high visibility and support from Senior Management. At the same time, you will have a foot inside Novo Nordisk's IT organization, which supports all major expansion projects as well as operations. Here is how we expect you to spend your time in this role: Implementation and validation of Automation solutions, including DCS, IT/OT, and MES Support the development of innovative technologies and enable access to future IT/OT platforms Steer plant changes, manage and/or support projects in an operational readiness project stage and in operation environment Support day-to-day operations and actively contribute to the efficient execution of our manufacturing processes once in operation stage Communicate with quality, clearly and timely with all relevant stakeholders You will be in Kalundborg, in proximity to the manufacturing sites. Qualifications We are looking for an aspiring and proactive colleague who can contribute to the team both professionally and personally. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in most of the following skills and experiences: Degree in Automation Engineering or related fields preferably with 2-5 years of DCS/PCS experience preferred Deep knowledge of PCS/DCS/PLC both hardware and software components with relevant work experience in Automation systems & controls in pharma and/or biotech companies Deep understanding or experience in complex filling lines, wash, packaging, cleaning & utility systems with sound knowledge in instrumentation and controls, including working experience in field instruments and control systems Broad exposure in Operations and Maintenance, with relevant experience in the Control & Automation Engineering discipline and a good understanding of the Maintenance process/system in the Pharma industry Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, both orally and in writing. The ideal candidate must be able to work individually with excellent prioritization skills and a strong work ethic to meet project timelines while communicating respectfully. About the department PPV's Automation & IT department is currently in the project phase and ramping up for operations. We work as a One Team with other project teams and NNE, playing a key role in the Operational Readiness for the world's largest API (insulin) factory.
