The position By joining our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our projects. Your leadership and strategic thinking will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and items, safeguarding project timelines, and mitigating risks. The overall purpose of the new department will be to:
  • Ensure baselining by engaging with engineering companies early on to gather information on material quantities and timelines.
  • Strengthen the robustness and validity of the project timeline, ensuring an efficient flow of information and materials to contractors.
  • Coordinate with category management to establish project-specific supplier framework agreements.
  • Foster strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring alignment in agreements and plans, and generating relevant reporting for project managers and other stakeholders.
  • Provide on-site support to contractors, assisting in managing the complexity of information flow, and offering CMs with status updates on material flows to contract managers.
  • Identify and communicate early warnings based on consolidated knowledge.
  • Qualification The ideal candidate will have:
  • Strong analytical mindset with an excellent understanding of data management.
  • An educational background of eg. M.sc. in Supply Chain, business development or similar
  • Preferred experience in supply chain management, specifically within the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in other regulated industries such as oil and gas, aviation, or nuclear industry will also be considered.
  • Clear goal orientation to ensure efficient utilization of time and resources.
  • Excellent people skills, with the ability to lead a small team of project managers and foster employee motivation.
  • Interest in both an operational focus during the initial 6-12 months of employment, followed by a shift towards more strategic aspects.
  • As a person you are results-driven, balancing continued good stakeholder relations with a strong focus on ensuring progress. You actively look for valid data and have the skills to make the necessary root-cause analyses. You are diplomatic but firm and can work with both senior management and operational staff. About the department The Expedite Management Department is being introduced as a proactive solution to mitigate key risks associated with contractors and suppliers in the BD/AF and PPV departments. The primary objective of the Expedite Management Department is to effectively mitigate risks related to the delivery of bulk materials, components, and instruments by implementing proactive measures and setting a clear direction for the organization.
