The position As a Strategy Partner, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the strategic aspirations process and supporting strategic decision-making at the SVP level. Your responsibilities will include: Facilitating the strategic aspiration process through interactions with senior leadership, and with leaders and employees across the organization Redesigning the process to fit the organizational needs and senior leadership ambitions and focusing on an actionable, strategic approach that drives change Developing and leveraging a network of local strategy partners to ensure robust bottom-up strategy formulation, alignment and deployment across PS API Assisting in the improvement and execution of critical strategy processes driven by the Executive Office, serving as a subject matter expert in driving strategic processes across the organization
As a strategy partner you will be a part of the newly established Executive Office focused on the intersection between strategy and portfolio management. While you will have close sparring with your nearest colleagues, the majority of your time will be out in the organization working with local strategy partners, finance, production managers and senior leadership level – a truly broad interface and a visible position. Qualifications
You can excel in the position from various backgrounds, and we welcome applications from both senior profiles with strong strategy expertise and candidates with a broader experience who are ambitions and eager to develop into a strategy position. The key is that you have a strong strategic mindset and excellent stakeholder understanding, and can challenge viewpoints, earning the respect and trust of your colleagues also on SVP level. Further, we expect you to have: Master’s degree in Finance, Strategy, Organizational studies, Business Administration, or similar Experience in driving or implementing strategy processes Exhibit strong network-building capabilities and the ability to create results through informal leadership Have experience with senior leadership exposure and collaboration with stakeholders at all levels within the organization Demonstrate excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English, and preferably in Danish as well Ability to shift between working from an overall strategic view down to the crucial details and understand when to apply which perspective
While it is not a requirement to have previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry, you are curious to learn about production, products and patients, and find energy in understanding how we work as a company. We expect you to be present 2-3 days a week at the Kalundborg site; the remaining days you are free to work remotely from another Novo Nordisk site or from home. About the department
The position is placed in Business Support at our API site in Kalundborg which is part of our global production division; Product Supply – counting close to +30.000 employees worldwide. The API Business Support consists of about 160 highly qualified employees with a multitude of professional backgrounds, all with the common purpose to support our production and implementation of Novo Nordisk strategies within API. At site Kalundborg we produce diabetes and obesity products 24/7, which are continuously distributed to patients worldwide. Contact
