We are looking for a talented candidate to fill the position as Executive Assistant to the Corporate Vice President (CVP) of Investment Portfolio Quality Assurance (IP QA). In this role, you will support the CVP and management team in a wide range of tasks, including strategy execution, financial budgeting and reporting to senior management. The position requires some organisational knowledge, a proactive and structured approach to tasks and the ability to both initiative and drive strategic activities across the organisation. As Executive Assistant in Investment Portfolio Quality Assurance (IP QA) you will assist the CVP and her management team in driving and executing on the area’s cross-organizational activities. You will also assist the CVP in interactions with and reporting to senior management fora. In the role, you will both be initiating and driving the strategic planning process in the unit, and you will be project lead on key strategic projects and business processes that require a specific focus on change management and project planning to ensure successful implementation. You will also be lead on driving the financial budgeting for the area in collaboration with the assistant group. In alignment with above, the focus of the role will be to ensure smooth operation of upcoming and ongoing organizational activities and to proactively assist the CVP on day-to-day activities, including making presentations and follow up. You will work closely together with the management team in driving excellence and independently run internal improvement activities and projects. This is a unique opportunity to shape a new role, interacting with stakeholders at all organisational levels and with a high degree of exposure to management at several levels. Qualifications
The position is ideal for a candidate with some years of experience in roles related to EA, project management and/or financial controlling. To succeed in this role, you:
• Hold a Master’s degree e.g. in business administration or Economics
• Have +3 years of relevant experience, for instance as executive assistant, project management or in roles which require strategic, communicative and analytical skills
• You have preferably worked in the pharmaceutical industry.
• You have the ability to effectively plan, prioritise, execute and follow up in a proactive manner
• You have a flair for numbers, IT solutions and preferably experience in planning and controlling budgets
• You are fluent in English and a skilled MS Office user On a personal level, you are self-motivated, result-oriented and have a growth mindset. You are curious and have excellent communication and people skills. Your well-structured approach to your tasks demonstrates responsibility and you have a quality mindset and are capable of maintaining an overview in a very dynamic environment.
Finally, you have the ability to work independently and initiate, drive and own initiatives while also being a strong team player. About the department
IP QA is an area with a total of 170+ employees and growing. The overall responsibility of the CVP area is to quality assure investment projects for new production facilities in Novo Nordisk worldwide. The CVP area is mainly located in Kalundborg, Bagsværd and Lyngby and supporting projects in different parts of the world. So flexibility is expected including ability to work out of Kalundborg.
