The position As a Business Support Director, your responsibilities will include: Building a highly effective and efficient business support function
Leading leaders and develop the organization in our newly established production area
Driving day-to-day activities representing the Business Support area across the organization, following up on actions and preparing presentations on behalf of the senior leader
Developing, outlining, and monitoring operational excellence and continuous improvement objectives through close collaboration with leaders and expert
Establishing relationships across the API organization for effective stakeholder management and management support
You will be involved in a broad range of tasks, including reporting to senior management, leading problem-solving on critical issues, and developing needed business strategies. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications: An academic degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferredsimilar
Experience with partnering, financial planning, reporting and performance management processes, and knowledge of business processes, systems, and pharmaceutical industry requirements
Proven experience in a leadership role (including people management), providing executive business support to senior leaders
Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement

About the department As a Director for Business Support, you will be responsible for leading a department consisting of approximately 65 employees, divided into 4 teams. The department is part of a new production area PPV, that is transitioning from the project stage to the operational phase. We will produce the future products of Novo Nordisk, which play a significant role in Novo Nordisk’s social responsibility strategy. We are dedicated to deliver strong results that add to the success of Novo Nordisk in crucial ways by ensuring high quality API at a competitive cost for our patients.
