We need to prepare for BREXIT with one more person helping us out as the workload will be higher for all of us. We need a resource that can help us in our day to day job.
Experience and take part in the vital work of preparing for and coping with BREXIT
This is a unique opportunity to really understand what BREXIT means for the transportation industry. Everyone is talking about it but we are actually living and experiencing it. As DFDS is growing, we are always looking for young talents with drive. The department is currently undergoing a change towards becoming even more digital and along with the responsibilities mentioned below, you could also be playing a part in our digitalization process.
Main responsibilities
Apart from the main task of helping out to make sure that the bookings are fit for the customs clearance process, you will have direct dialogue with our customers and understand how transports are booked and managed for our UK-DK traffic. This includes, calculating prices, talking to customers and hauliers as well as making an optimal planning together with the team. Checking that arriving bookings contain all necessary information and product type. In this process you collaborate with our Planning team as well as Customs Clearance team.

Your hard skills
Preferably you are somewhere in your bachelor within the field of Logistics, Transportation or similar. Since you will be working with both Danish and English stakeholders, you must be proficient in both Danish and English.
Your soft skills
Of course, we’d like to hire a person with a positive can-do attitude and drive – a team player. You cannot be afraid to learn new things and must not be afraid to ask, when in doubt. Given our line of work, you must have an eye for details.

- Part load planning support
- Preparation and evaluation of KPI’s when needed
