A mere project orientated approach
The Copenhagen metro has reached an age where we are not only maintaining but also replacing, improving, and developing the metro. This places higher demands on Metro Service’s ability to deliver projects as a part of our core service to the benefit of our stakeholders & costumers. It also means that our projects have become larger and more frequent. As project manager your task will be to drive our technical projects from start to finish. Some of your tasks as a project manager will include:
• Project planning, execution, and closure, balancing scope, timelines, and resources.
• Participating in the establishment of effective project governance structures.
• Cultivating relationships with external stakeholders to incorporate their perspectives.
• Ensuring successful project outcomes through proactive risk management and creative problem-solving.
• Adapting project strategies to meet evolving needs in dynamic environments.

The Project & Assets department was established in summer 2023 after combining former Project & Engineering and Digital Asset Management Departments. We are on a mission to make projects a part of our company DNA to accommodate the needs for Strategic Projects, implementation of an increasing portfolio of Digital projects and Overhaul of components in the metro systems as it’s turned 20.
Experienced Project Manager with a well-equipped toolbox
To succeed in this role, it is important that you have extensive experience as a technical project manager, with the ability to navigate complex project landscapes and collaborative skills to motivate teams and drive project success. Additionally, we are looking for someone who has:
• A bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
• Experience with well-known project frameworks, project management tools, and
methodologies – PRINCE2 is an advantage.
• Effective collaborative skills, with the capacity to motivate teams and drive project success.
• Experience in risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making within technical contexts.
• The ability to express themselves clearly in written and spoken English.
Moreover, it is beneficial to have experience in defining and developing governance for projects, programmes, and portfolios, as well as proficiency within the Office package (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Project, Excel, PowerPoint).
We also value systematic work and a focus on completion, ensuring that we reach our project goals within the agreed framework while fostering good collaboration.
