The position The project portfolio in Research & Early Development (R&ED) is growing and there is a need for more Senior Project Managers to drive it. Your primary responsibility will be to drive global CapEx investment projects that will lead to significant optimisation and improvements in R&ED. The portfolio spans widely from rebuilding existing facilities and laboratories, installation of sophisticated equipment to greenfield projects often with an element of automation and digitalisation. Your responsibilities will be to: Define the overall scope of an investment project including business case, budget, and time schedule – in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders Organise and lead multi-disciplinary project teams to ensure successful completion of all project deliverables Provide periodic project status and updates to steering committees and other relevant stakeholders including risk assessment and mitigation actions, financial updates, etc. Practise extensive collaboration with other relevant stakeholders within Novo Nordisk as well as externally, to gain and incorporate best practices into the projects The job will be based in Måløv, Denmark, but some travel to our different global sites should be expected. Qualifications Being able to demonstrate experience in executing CapEx investment projects within a regulated industry e.g. life science, food science, energy industry A proactive, self-driven and pragmatic attitude Broad knowledge to comprehend and drive projects of high complexity with many stakeholders from different areas of expertise A curious mindset and a willingness to learn and develop your skill-set throughout your employment Preferably experience from building laboratories English language proficiency - high standard in both written and spoken About the department
R&D Investments manages the project portfolio of Novo Nordisk CapEx investments in R&ED. We are a team of 6 colleagues anchored in R&ED and are based in Måløv Denmark and we are expanding. We support projects globally such as US, UK and China. Responsibilities of the department includes Project Management, leading strategy discussions and decision-making processes to effectively lead internal partners, Portfolio Management for R&ED and Project Controlling.
