We are looking for two Strategic Business Partners to join DPP and act as trusted advisor, working together with diverse stakeholders to move our business forward in a high-growth scenario. The Position As a Strategic Business Partner , you will be supporting two of four areas within DPP: Early Portfolio and Technology Platforms & Due Diligence or Key Projects and Diabetes & Obesity. As Strategic Business Partner, you will act as a sparring partner to the CVP/VP and be part of a group of five Strategic Business Partners in the area. You can look forward to a broad range of exciting challenges that have senior management attention feeding into your personal and professional development. With direct reference to the CVP/VP of your two 2 areas, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and operationalisation of strategic initiatives within the portfolio management units and work across the organisation and value chain. Your main responsibilities will be:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for the CVP/VP on key business matters and providing insights and analyses to support decision-making.
  • Assist and contribute to development, formulation and execution of strategic projects and objectives.
  • Monitor dash boards and spot patterns across projects.
  • Prepare presentations and agendas for leadership and executive meetings.
  • Oversee project tracking and management, including maintaining an overview of operational activities and contributing to reporting processes.
  • Strategy execution - preparing and executing on the strategy and plan incl. project scenario building and risk management .
  • Furthermore, you will manage ad hoc tasks such as planning off-site events as well as handle and deliver on different strategic, operational, and tactical tasks simultaneously. To succeed in this role, you work closely with different business units and stakeholders with different dynamics and create real impact through active partnerships and business understanding. Qualifications You hold a relevant master’s degree within Science, Business, Project Management or other relevant field combined with 4-8 years of experience in business partnering, strategic planning and execution. Furthermore, you have:
  • Strategic approach with the ability to predict new challenges and implement plans.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to turn decisions into action.
  • Display a high level of independence, personal engagement, drive to reach results as well as integrity.
  • Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • As a person, you are ambitious and a dedicated team-player with a genuine interest in understanding other's perspectives and interact with stakeholders in a humble and respectful manner, while not being afraid of challenging status quo or the unsaid. You have strong communication skills and can easily interact and collaborate with colleagues at all levels in the organisation. As a knowledge seeker with a strong drive and passion for empirically driven decisions you take initiative, continually identifying opportunities for improvements and development of the organisation through a structural approach. You thrive and balance working independently as well as being part of a multiple teams. About the CVP area and department PSQIT Development Product Portfolio (DPP) is a new CVP area in PSQIT at Novo Nordisk, established to gather all portfolio management units from 'CMC Development & Scaling’ and across ‘Product Supply’ (PS). The purpose of the new area is to improve Novo Nordisk’s ability to prioritize and develop our pipeline with a keen focus on product potential, manufacturability, scalability as well as future capacity needs in close collaboration with Global Supply Chain. The new organization will act as a single point of entry into PSQIT providing an end-to-end and seamless overview, ensuring commercial scalability and manufacturability is in focus from early development.
