The position
As a Senior Business Partner, your main responsibilities will be to: Build and design strong financial governance model to strengthen organisational accountability for trial budgets/cost ensuring clear accountability and governance across the global clinical development organisation Drive the initial budget target setting for our clinical trial budgets globally Support our development projects with a special focus on trial budgets to ensure that we meet our targets Support management by creating transparency and analysis for informed decision-making Turn complex data into clear conclusions and easy-to-understand communication slides

Qualifications
To thrive in this position, we expect you to: Hold a master’s degree in business, science, or any other relevant field Have a minimum of 10 years' experience in building governance models for large organisations as well as big-data analysis, business analysis or business controlling; while having experience building clinical trial budgets from a contract research organisation (CRO) or pharma company will be a great advantage, but not a prerequisite Be fluent in English (both written and spoken) Be proficient with IT-tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

The above skills are of major importance as you have to establish a strong collaboration with the project organisation based on mutual trust and be considered a value-adding business partner. In addition, you have strong business acumen and enjoy collaborating with many different stakeholders with diverse cultural backgrounds.
About the department
Global Clinical Business Analysis is a global department of 15 dedicated professionals supporting and collaborating across the global clinical development organisation which is responsible for the clinical research and project management of our products in development with approximately 1100 people in the headquarters function and approximately 2500 in our regions. It is a complex environment with many projects in our development portfolio. Transparency and in-depth analysis on global trial performance, capacity and performance management is critical to us.
