Frontmatec’s Control System business unit offers a unique possibility to join their management team and to be managing a highly skilled team of employees, which develops automation and MES solutions for customers in the Utility Industry, Food Industry, and Manufacturing Industry.

The Control Systems business unit is a leading player in the automation market with more than 35 years of experience in automation solutions, SCADA, and MES.

As Director Control Systems, Food you will be P/L responsible for the Food area and overall responsible for sale and project execution. You will be heading a department of 53 exceptionally skilled developers, project managers, and sales personnel mainly based in Skanderborg and Skive and there will be remote management of small teams in Germany, Holland, and Spain.

You will drive, maintain, and develop the sale of automation solutions and MES with new and existing customers, some of which are the largest food manufacturers in Denmark and Europe.

As a manager, you will lead, develop, and motivate your organisation and simultaneously ensure high-quality project execution and completion through the experienced and highly skilled project managers reporting to you. Frontmatec has its own second to none SW platform.

With a direct report to the CEO (of Frontmatec Skive A/S), you will be part of an organisation, in which you are one of six managers in each area of responsibility. You will have a great impact on your business area and the unit in general.

You have a minimum of five years of experience with management, project execution and selling automation, SCADA and MES solutions. In your career, you have already achieved fantastic results within relational selling and as a manager in general. You are successful in your current position and possess a great winner mentality.

You are proficient in Danish and English and can demonstrate communication and negotiation skills at a very high level in both languages.

You have an educational background in electrical engineering or software engineering. However, experience is more important than education. A management and/or commercial educational extension, for example, MBA is an advantage

You are a person with a great deal of self-motivation; you are results-driven and have high work ethic.

Travelling: 20-40 days per year
