The position is based in Aarhus or Gothenburg.

Key responsibilities

Strategy/Product management

Execute the overall Maersk Air strategy to achieve sustainable profitable growth in Scandinavia

PnL responsible for the airfreight product in Scandinavia

Overall responsible for the airfreight operations in the Area

Responsible for airfreight procurement in Scandinavia including carrier relationship with preferred partners.

Provide the Airfreight operations team with guidance, leadership and overall support on issues relating to operation, standardization and process optimization.

Ensure contractual compliance and delivery of quality services that meet and exceed the customer’s expectations

Product profitability – focus on maximize revenue, GP and EBIT

We are looking for

7-10+ years of industry specific experience

Demonstrated airfreight experience

Strategic mindset and strong execution skills

P&L experience

Customer focused

Solid knowledge about the Scandinavian airfreight market

Strong operational background

Good interpersonal, communication and excellent negotiating skills

Strong analytical skills, ability to understand and interpret performance data

Leadership skills with ability to motivate and engage others

Great communication skills, being fluent in a Scandinavian language and English

Personality: passionate, result oriented, self-starter, well-structured
