As PTP Senior Architect, you will lead engagement within procure to pay engineering team for assigned implementation releases from explore to implementation owning the end to end delivery. You will partner with procure to pay business product owners in translating epics into user stories and then delivering them in realizing best possible business outcome while following enterprise architecture framework.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for Solution design for the Procure to Pay (PTP) solution across Maersk business units
  • Work in an agile team with PTP product owners, SAP developers/engineers and scrum master in executing on prioritized backlog
  • Ensuring no architecture bottlenecks impacting delivery of solution
  • Quality assurance of the solution from design to delivery
  • Compliance to Enterprise architecture guidelines and product roadmap+
  • Hands on solution design for the PTP products like procurement and logistics, invoice processing and receipting, financial accounting, tax legal compliance, payment and management reporting
  • Managing the Product backlog, including prioritization of needs, creation of backlog items and mapping out dependencies in collaboration with users and customers
  • Work closely with development teams in Agile way of working; contribute to the planning, execution and review of each sprint and work with the team to refine and improve the development process.
  • Evaluating product progress accountable for each stage of the development process and the final product. Inspect and evaluate product progress at each iteration, determine whether final product is acceptable. Performance of product in general, includes example value delivery, user satisfaction, performance of the support process, compliance, cost, stability of the product and deployment/roll-out performance.
  • To be successful, you need to perform stakeholder management related to your product(s)
  • Contribute to developing product and agile practices across Maersk
  • Support business and transformation teams to ensure fit for purpose data conversion achieving required quality of outcomes
  • Manage upstream and downstream dependencies to ensure a seamless end to end process standardization

We are looking for

You have:

  • Experience working as SAP PTP Architect with large scale SAP transformation program environments
  • At least 10+ years, as an SAP PTP architect with overall experience of 15+ years with large scale technology transformation initiatives
  • In depth domain knowledge in the finance and procurement area
  • Experience in working with PTP business process/activity owners in understanding business requirement and solution design
  • Proven experience with managing complex stakeholders and ability to influence without authority
  • Experience with S4HANA implementation is must
  • Expert experience across multiple SAP modules - SAP MM, SAP FI/CO, SAP VIM,
  • Experience of working with SAP FI/CO, SAP SD, Tax, Travel Expense Management, HR, TMS modules integration with MM
  • Experience in AI and robotics will be an advantage
  • Experience of large and complex Programs
  • Experience in developing roadmap for PTP
  • Experience in working with Agile, Scrum and waterfall delivery models
  • Good problem solving communication skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or IT related discipline
  • Collaborative mindset across business functions
  • Agile mindset open to change ability to work in ambiguous environment
  • Deep understanding of Data conversion of master and transactional data
