We are looking for Engineers at all levels to join our successful and growing team. As a Lead SAP Procure to Pay (PTP) expert, you will lead engagement with procure to pay team for assigned finance and tax platform, partner with PTP business team to create a vision, translate team vision into roadmap and will be responsible for end to end deliveries of the team on best suited technical platforms in alignment with Maersk enterprise strategy. As a Senior engineer you will work in this team ensuring delivery and creating within the platform. Maersk is operating in more than 130 countries across the world and with rapidly and constantly changing business and technology environment, PTP expert role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the vision and implementation of PTP solutions for Maersk group.

Key responsibilities

• Technology delivery partner with Maersk PTP team for finance & tax platform

• Key member for the S4Hana implementation program in PTP

• Help create vision in partnership with finance PTP function and platform product owners

• Actively collaborate with other platform product owners and Lead Engineers to understand the impact on PTP and ensure accounting needs are delivered

• Manage the platform product backlog as per prioritization based on business needs, creation of backlog items and mapping out dependencies in collaboration with users and customers

• Work closely with development teams in Agile way of working; contribute to the planning, execution and review of each sprint and work with the team to refine and improve the development process.

• Contribute to developing platform and agile practices across Maersk

• Ensure governance is followed in change deployment, IT budgeting and manage relationship with vendors where relevant

• Experience working as SAP PTP expert for around 10 years

• Experience in implementing large and complex SAP Projects with role as procure to pay lead

• Domain knowledge in the procure to pay process and SAP MM modules

• Experience in working with PTP business process/activity owners in understanding business requirement and solution design

• Experience with S4HANA implementation is must

• Experience in modules of SAP MM, OpenText, Tax, Invoice Processing, Goods and Services Procurement and Supplier Portals

• Experience of working with SAP FICO, SD, HR, PS and Travel Management modules integration with SAP MM

• Experience of working with Source to Contract process and applications is an advantage

• Experience in AI and robotics will be an advantage

• Experience of large and complex Programs is must

• Experience in developing roadmap for PTP

• Experience in working with Agile, Scrum and waterfall delivery models

• Good problem solving & communication skills

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Finance or IT related discipline

• Collaborative mindset across business functions

• Agile mindset & open to change & ability to work in ambiguous environment
