Opportunity

Responsible for the financial and operational oversight, leadership, direction and overall Air operations management at a country level and ensure that
growth and profitablity goals and objectives are met. Responsible to help advance and execute the overall Maersk Air strategy. This position is located in Aarhus, Denmark.

Main responsibilities:

• Oversee, lead, direct and mange the fiscal and overall operations at a country level to ensure that growth and profitablity goals and objectives are met (P&L Responsible)
• Plan and implement appropriate resources at country level (staffing, training, equipment, and systms) to ensure contractual compliance and delivery of quality services that meet and exceed the customer’s expectations
• Leading the management of expectations for country operations leaders, facilitates communication on business requirements and establishes critical performance metrics
• Provide the Air country operation’s team with daily guidance, leadership and overall support on any issues relating to operations, communication, revenue enhancement, human resources, procedures standardization, systems applications, and process execution.
• Work collaborateively with BPE, customer experience, Areas, Platform and Tech corporate administration to ensure efficient operations.
• Develop continuous improvement methodology in key areas of service profit and growth
• Develop customer relationships and ensure that customer service and operational levels within the country operations are maintained
• Oversee and manage the professional development and productivity of direct reports to ensure proper goals, training, professional development and project requirements are met
• Keep abrest of emerging technology changes and innovations through formal or informal study, reading business and professional publications, networking, and participation in professional organizations
