Opportunity


The international project manager leads strategic projects in our Central Contract logistics business unit for all warehouses and depots with main focus on our products (services), processes & systems, touching a variety of parts of the technology platform(s).

Key accountabilities and responsibilities

1. Methodology

  • Create, develop and maintain the project management methodology

  • Co-develop overall change management methodology (with business change lead)

  • Support the methodology with a practical and user-friendly toolbox that can be easily adopted from other project, program peers and contract logistics community for large, medium and small projects


2. User feed-back

  • Ensure Product, Technology and operations teams are kept in the loop on project feedback, successes and failures – ensure to cater for direct feedback where possible, minimize communication layers to avoid noise – both from internal and external users.

  • Provide input to the backlog owned by Product, Technology and operation teams for the next releases

  • Set up a way for the teams to measure adoption and compliance of the system and process as per design, in alignment with change management


3. Operational Engagement

  • Be actively involved on the selection and on-boarding journey for pilots & roll-outs

  • Support and coach the operational, technical and Implementation Managers, leading the implementation of new product and technical roll outs

  • Engage with operations, product and other stakeholders to ensure methodology is in line with their expectations

  • Complement the change management methodology with a commercial storyline to be used in operational & customer pursuits


4. Growth

  • Ensure the successful implementation lays the foundation for contract logistics (CL) growth


Required experience & skills

  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in logistics and supply chain management industry

  • Proven experience in large scale project management involving significant business change

  • Track record on operational projects with the interface to technical teams (software engineers, TPM, platform teams)

  • Advanced proficiency in project management tools including related systems/software

  • Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain processes

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including experience with training others

  • Passion, initiative and drive to continuously develop and work with creativity and innovation

  • Result oriented and able to work independently as well as motivate a team
