As our new Head of Global Rewards, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders in Svitzer to provide expert Rewards guidance and support to our global organization of competent People & Culture professionals and leaders on a broad range of Rewards matters and strategic interventions. Our colleagues in Maersk will also be an important sparring partner in these matters.

You report to the Chief People Officer and will be an important part of the People Leadership team leading the global rewards agenda both when it comes to strategic input and execution.
You will develop and deliver a meaningful engaging rewards programme that will provide a great employee experience through close collaboration with your colleagues in the People & Culture function globally.
You contribute to the success of your People & Culture colleagues and company leaders, and you refine existing expertise, enhance your experiences, and develop new skills and capabilities that are a great foundation for further career progression.

Key responsibilities
As Head of Global Rewards you support key stakeholders and provide advanced Rewards expertise to impact the achievement of our business goals positively.
You’ll leverage past experience and deep knowledge along with an ability to build trust and respect to analyse and propose solutions for complex issues and present with credibility to senior stakeholders.
You will take the lead on the overall rewards strategy and architecture, projects, policies and issues that are relevant within specific business contexts hereunder bonus structure, salary benchmarks, benefits, insurance and global mobility. You will use market insights and relevant benchmarks supporting data driven rewards decisions. You will drive or partner on our annual salary process and ensure pay equity.
You will ensure our Rewards tools create positive business outcomes and people impact.
We are looking for
In Svitzer it is all about people, so it comes natural to you to create followership through your actions and the way you communicate complex matters for the benefit of your stakeholders, who come from all sides of the business, representing diversity of thought and mind. You possess empathetic listening skills and a high ability for learning.
You take ownership, are purposeful and your strong collaboration and coaching skills give you the ability to influence without authority and experience navigating through a matrix organisation.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant education combined with 5-7 years of solid experience from a global Rewards role and preferably;
• Resilience tenacity and ability to manage ambiguity
• Strong project management, planning and change management skills across multiple locations
• An analytical mindset
