Senior Lab IT Specialist wanted for Digital Transformation projects

Typical tasks in this role

In your new role you will be working in projects for international clients predominantly in the Laboratory/Manufacturing space with a focus on Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).

Your main responsibilities are to advise our clients, participate in assessments, data migrations or instrument integrations, digital transformation projects and continuously challenging and developing the NNIT methodologies. In these projects you will typically work with other technical consultants, architects, and Life Science specialists.

Skills necessary to thrive in this role:

• You have 5+ years experience in the IT or Pharmaceutical industry
• You are proficient in at least one major programming language (preferably JAVA) and SQL
• You have experience within the laboratory area (either from a functional or technical perspective), and preferably have knowledge of the central systems like LIMS, LES, ELN or Lab instruments.
• You have an eye for IT architecture and how business processes are impacted by IT systems
• You are curious about the rapidly evolving technologies. You are eager to learn and master new tech when it can have a big impact on our team

Ideally you have a background from a consultancy firm or a pharmaceutical company. Knowledge of specific vendors’ systems like Labware or Labvantage is considered a plus too.

Location:

The role can be remote from any of our Europan locations: Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, and Spain.

Fluency in oral and written English is a must. A second language (German, Danish) will be an advantage.

Travel can be required for some projects.
