Team leader Inbound, Evening shift - [xxxxx] Warehouse

Our warehouse operation is growing fast and therefore we want to strengthen our inbound department on evening shift by adding a team leader. If you can see yourself as an important part of a company with big ambitions and an exciting journey ahead, then it might be you that we are looking for.

About the position:
As a team leader in the inbound department you will be working closely with the department’s two coordinators. Together you lead and motivate the team to perform their best every day.

The main task in our inbound department is to receive goods, that are later sold in NORMAL’s over 400 stores in Europe. Our goal is to keep this process as efficient as possible while keeping a high quality standard. At the same time we want to make sure, that we maintain a healthy work environment where all employees feel valued.

Your daily tasks will be:
Ensuring team and individual performance, hosting performance and behavior dialogs, approving workhours for employees, booking temps, upholding our rules and guidelines, and implementing new processes in the department to optimize workflow.

Qualifications:

At NORMAL we base our culture on trust and dialogue, and we expect you to lead by example of being inclusive and cooperative. Our work environment is multicultural and therefore it is a must, that you are able to speak and write confidently in English.

For this position we are looking for a team player with good communication skills. We want to enrich the team with a leader who is focused on development and has prior leadership experience to apply. To fulfill this position you will also have to have some experience with handling administrative tasks.

We are searching for an assertive and spontaneous team leader, who is able to make tough calls and is willing to give alternative ideas a try. Being proactive on behalf of the department is key, and you will be the initiator of future projects, that will better our operation. Therefore it is an advantage, if you have implemented and run projects before.

Place of employment:
For the moment you will be working at our warehouse North of Horsens in Gedved, but we are in the process of building a new logistics center in Hedensted, where we will be moving to in the start of 2023.
