We are looking for a Manager with a proven track record of leading and developing a technical specialist team towards excellence within complex platform design- and implementation projects.

Job Responsibilities and Success Criteria
We are seeking a managerial profile with a solid technical understanding within infrastructure and virtual platforms. In this role, you will be managing and supporting a team of 11 specialists and via modern leadership principle make them shine as individuals as well as a team.

The team is both supporting rest of the infrastructure organization, handling environments across the nordics as well as executing complex large scale projects.
The role as head of this team is not so much about being the technical decision-maker but more to be the commited leader who cleares the roadblocks and creates a strong framework for your team of technical specialists.

You will…

• Design and implement transparent operational processes (ITIL)
• Ensure collection of performance data and deliver improvement actions
• Ensure full transparency of roles and responsibilities within the team
• Engage in service development efforts and operational refinement via strong self-starting abilities
• Lead business case work and presentations towards management
• Take ownership of key projects
• Ensure a high level of team spirit
• Claim control of vendor services and optimize the services and costs
• Ensure alignment with business needs and projects and enable your team to become a valuable sparring partner

We are prioritizing…

• Experience in leading, growing and mentoring an IT infrastructure team – preferably across borders
• Experienced people manager, that has dealt with HR responsibilities in the past
• Relevant IT Infrastructure experience – especially within VM-ware and networks
• A keen interest in automation and repeatable deployments
• Experience with transformation journeys
• Minimum ITIL v3 certification
• Experience with business case work
• The ability to present to upper management
• Experience with budget management
• Experience with building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other third parties to ensure consistent and effective delivery of services
• Experience of creating a customer centric working culture
• Fluent in English and preferably also a Nordic language (DK / NO / SE)
