This is a global role open in India and Europe, however candidates in India will only be considered for the role based in India and applicants in UK/ Europe will only be considered for role in UK / Europe.

Working as part of the Agile Portfolio office as an SME individual contributor reporting to the Cyber Portfolio Director, you will aid Leadership decision making on a wide range of topics and maximise delivery throughput and value within Maersks’ Cyber Platform including across our 7 Cyber Products.

Key to the role...

You’ll need the ability to quickly digest and assess Cyber wide processes, plans and schedules for risks, gaps and dependencies as well as the ability to make recommendations for continuous improvement based on evidence gained through an analytical yet creative approach to problem solving.

You will be analytical and the type of person who delves deeper into the data, asking probing questions to really understand the data in front of you and be able to take control of the narrative.

Your ability to research and analyse improvement opportunities, assess workflow processes, develop agile and cyber requirements and standardised reporting metrics will be next level.

The role requires tenacity, you will be outgoing and articulate, collaborating with a wide variety of teams and stakeholders both internal to Cyber and across Maersk Technology to develop creative solutions. Finally, you will need the confidence to facilitate and drive agendas forward, ensuring your narrative and leadership style brings the wider team along on the journey.

  • Experience of agile transformation/change programs and the benefits of agile ways of working

  • Experience working within cyber security teams and defining security requirements preferable

  • Experienced in process improvement (Lean Six Sigma)

  • Working knowledge of IT tools and practices (Jira, Confluence, Power BI)

  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

  • Ability to facilitate workshops across diverse stakeholder groups


You will be a communicator, a collaborator and a problem solver with a high level of business acumen and the ability to take ownership of issues and drive a resolution.

You will also be adaptable and be able to thrive in changing environments with changing and conflicting priorities. This skill will allow you to handle ambiguity, complex requirements, consolidation and analysis of data to draw appropriate conclusions.

Key responsibilities

  • Leading and setting the standards for transformational process excellence and ways of working within Cyber, ensuring the team deliver change effectively

  • Completes detailed data analysis across multiple data sources to provide insight to drive decisions around continuous improvement, identifying (process/delivery) risks and providing recommendations for change

  • Develops management reporting and articulates the findings to Director level/LT to support & enhance value-based delivery (across WFB, Finance, Cyber central solution backlog)

  • Challenges constructively to ensure appropriate options are considered prior to agreeing a solution

  • Supports stakeholder mapping across Tech and facilitates collaboration to increase engagement around the evolving Cyber strategic priorities

  • Carries out business process mapping, process re-engineering and analysis wherever needed

  • Takes responsibility for working with business and IT stakeholders to gain a full understanding of the business vision, scope and benefits mapping and articulates the benefits of change

  • Liaising with Product teams to ensure ways of working are understood and improvements implemented

  • Maintain traceability of requirements to policy and standards into requirements e.g. security policies and standards
