The offer
As the Head of Sanctions Quality Control, Group Financial Crime Prevention your role involves securing that operational processes are being conducted effectively, processes followed and Compliance Risk is being managed. You will lead the team currently responsible for conducting Quality Review of first and second level Investigations of potential Sanctions Concerns identified via Sanctions Screening (transaction and customer).
You will be willing to review the framework and the acceptable quality levels and expand the quality review initially over level three of the process and then to all other operational processes in support of sanctions controls in the First Line of Defence. You will think end to end and be motivated to help the business to better manage its risk – Compliance and Operational. You will be expected to have a strong grasp of sanctions risks, understanding industry best practice in quality control and regulatory expectation and help nordea to build sustainable capability in the area.

• At least five years of experience working closely with Sanctions and International Compliance Association (ICA) Certification (sanctions focused) or Association of Certified Sanctions Specialists (ACSS) Certification
