My name is Kristine Baagø, and I am looking for a People Partner to join our fantastic team here in Copenhagen. It’s a new role and comes with great development opportunities and responsibility. You will help us shape and form the future people set up to drive and support the exciting transformation journey we’re on.

As our new People Partner, you focus on the full HR cycle, where your tasks vary from recruiting the future talents of Svitzer, participating or running a workshop for a team, discussing employer branding with your peers in other regions or updating job specs in Workday. Basically, end-to-end support for our leaders and the wider organization.

Collaboration is the path to long-term success, so we need a true team player to enable our People team to create the most value. You demonstrate ownership and do the right thing even when it takes courage to do so. You need to be passionate about people and helping them grow.

About the position
As People Partner you will become part of the People & Culture team in Harbour House II in Copenhagen and report to Head of HR, Global Functions.

You are the glue of the People & Culture organization in Copenhagen, and your closest colleagues are a small team of highly competent fun-loving colleagues. This role is a capacity builder with lots of potential to grow and join exciting development projects with our centres of excellence globally. You build strong relationships with leaders and their teams, and you drive the local delivery of the annual HR Cycle across all process areas.

You are go-to person on a variety of different tasks, reliable and trustworthy, and your primary responsibilities can be divided mainly into;

  • full ownership of HR annual cycle activities
  • supporting the planning and execution of HR projects and initiatives
  • supporting our business leaders with recruitments

You play a key role in ensuring a stellar HR experience and this includes ensuring quality also of operational tasks from time to time.

Other responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with functional leaders and provide sparring and guidance on HR cycle
  • Work with the regional People & Culture organization on the day-to-day development and delivery of people processes
  • Cooperate with Global Operations on relocation and mobility
  • Be a system process champion and address opportunities for improvement both within People & Culture and for all employees
  • Run full cycle recruitment processes for Global Functions
  • Employee experience from Onboarding to offboarding

We are looking for

  • 3-5 years of experience as a People Partner or HRBP preferably in a global setting
  • A passion for being a trusted advisor and sparring partner
  • Structured, proactive, and curious of nature
  • Experience with the HR annual wheel activities in a corporate environment including performance management, salary review, employee engagement, and talent review
  • A strong recruiter and a good nose for assessing talent
  • Someone who can cope with organizational complexity, change, and a People & Culture set-up that is under continuous development
  • Strong proficiency in English
