Senior Business Product Manager, Container Freight Station (CFS) & Planning

As part of our HQ Lead Logistics team, you will work directly on the development and creation of products that personify our logistics integrator’s strategy, and effectively solve customers’ problems at global scale. More specifically, you will be driving the growth of Container Freight Station (Consolidation) & Planning as essential components of our Managed by Maersk solutions, with the determination to expand its value and reach exponentially.

You will join a global and diverse team that adheres to the highest standards of product management and commits to making the difference for our customers.

As co-responsible for our global Booking Services business, you will pave the way for its market and financial success in close collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders.

You will have the chance to:

• Build the product and launch incremental product features according to the requirements gathered from internal and external stakeholders including the product vision, ideating new products and features.
  
  
• Prioritize deliverables in line with strategic product vision and Maersk’s integrator strategy.
  
  
• Ensure that product functions as envisioned, delivers on its objectives and develops in line and ahead of market demands.
  
  

Key responsibilities:

• Ownership of CFS financial results.
  
  
• Deep understanding of our customers’ supply chain pain-points, and continuous development of our value proposition & product according to them. This includes collaboration with Marketing, Sales & Insights organizations in discovery phases, as well as frequent feedback loops with customers to ensure the right level of co-creation & market fit.
  
  
• Product life-cycle management, from ideation to discontinuation (when necessary).
  
  
• Creation of the Product Roadmap and specification & prioritization of business requirements for technology development.
  
  
• Articulation of our go-to-market and pricing strategy for CFS.
  
  
• Collaboration with internal stakeholders to achieve the required level of product scalability (commercially and operationally).
  
  
• Continuous assessment of the strategic fit of CFS with our company goals and other products, to launch new solutions and drive innovation.
  
  
• Closely collaborate with other existing product teams, especially our Contract Logistics business unit, to leverage & optimize existing set ups.
  
  
• Work collaboratively across the product and platform organizations to advocate product management best practices and establish Maersk as a world class reference in product management.
  
  

Who we are looking for:

• Logistics domain expertise, preferably related to Consolidation or Supply Chain Management operations.
  
  
• Ability to identify customer needs and pain points using qualitative and quantitative data.
  
  
• Demonstrates a combination of customer-oriented business acumen with effective technology knowledge, leveraging agile methods in approach and practices.
  
  
• Ability to drive incremental product development across a team of diverse stakeholders to deliver world class capabilities, features, and products.
  
  
• Ability to balance multiple priorities including development and maintenance.
  
  
• Leadership experience within complex time critical projects.
  
  
• Creation and convincing articulation of business cases.
  
  
• Ability to drive accountability and performance management to deliver on business case via areas and regions.
  
  
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to co-ordinate and drive results globally across teams, facilitate workshops.
  
  
• A well organized and self-directed individual who is a team player with a collaborative mindset.

• Strong people management and leadership skills as well as ability to collaborate and influence others, including suppliers.

• Strong and current knowledge of technology platforms, and ability to quickly adapt to new software.
