As part of our HQ Lead Logistics team, you will work directly on the development and creation of products that personify our logistics integrator’s strategy, and effectively solve customers’ problems at global scale. More specifically, you will be driving the growth of Destination Coordination services by helping companies which do not have either the expertise or personnel to coordinate the import flows with a Managed by Maersk solution that supports them to outsource the coordination of their container deliveries with destination parties including Carriers, Brokers and Inland transporters.

You will join a global and diverse team that adheres to the highest standards of product management and commits to making the difference for our customers. As responsible for our Destination Coordination business, you will pave the way for its market and financial success in close collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders.You will have the chance to:
• Build the product together with our Functional and Platform Product Owners, and launch incremental product features according to the requirements gathered from internal and external stakeholders including the product vision, ideating new products and features.
• Prioritize deliverables in line with strategic product vision and Maersk’s integrator strategy.
• Own the go to market and manage its financial performance

Key Responsibilities

• Ownership of Destination Coordination financial results (P&L)
• Engaging with Marketing, Sales and Industry sources to understand customer needs and pain points both broadly and more detailed for the specific scope of the product role
• Where necessary commission customer insight work via the Marketing Department
• Contributing to product ideation, value proposition development and product development roadmaps
• Creating Press Release/Frequently Asked Questions (PR/FAQ) to support development / enhancement of product
• Developing the product roadmap and business requirements, which serve as input to platform and process teams
• Preparing Product customer journeys, epics, features in alignment with PR/FAQs and the product development roadmap
• Ownership of Destination Coordination financial results (P&L)
• Engaging with Marketing, Sales and Industry sources to understand customer needs and pain points both broadly and more detailed for the specific scope of the product role
• Where necessary commission customer insight work via the Marketing Department
• Contributing to product ideation, value proposition development and product development roadmaps
• Creating Press Release/Frequently Asked Questions (PR/FAQ) to support development / enhancement of product
• Developing the product roadmap and business requirements, which serve as input to platform and process teams
• Preparing Product customer journeys, epics, features in alignment with PR/FAQs and the product development roadmap
• Overseeing the technology and operational development of the capabilities, features and or parts of the product(s) to ensure customers receive the value proposition and Maersk the benefits described.
• Driving product development in collaboration with functional product owners, platform product owners, Technology Engineers, Procurement Managers and other relevant colleagues
• Ensuring frequent feedback loops with customers to make sure products under development have a customer and market fit
• Ensuring that relevant stakeholders have a holistic understanding of the value proposition of the capability, feature and or product to facilitate the development of processes, technology and operations that aligned to the value proposition
• Define and communicate acceptance criteria, collaborating with relevant platforms and product teams
• Owner of the product sales collateral
• Continuously manage and optimize the capability, feature and or product post launch to sustain relevance and differentiation
• Work collaboratively across the product and platform organizations to advocate product management best practices and establish Maersk as a world class reference in product management

Required Experience & Skills

• Logistics domain expertise, related to the coordination of destination/import activities
• Ability to drive product performance, both top line growth and bottom-line optimization
• Proximity to both customers and customer service
• Ability to identify customer needs and pain points using qualitative and quantitative data
• Demonstrates a combination of customer-oriented business acumen with effective technology knowledge, leveraging agile methods in approach and practices
• Ability to drive product development across a team of diverse stakeholders to deliver world class capabilities, features and products
• Ability to balance multiple priorities including development and maintenance
• Leadership experience within complex time critical projects
• Creation and convincing articulation of business cases
• Experience in working with agile teams
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to co-ordinate globally across teams, facilitate workshops.
• A well organized and self-directed individual who is a team player with a collaborative mindset
• Self motivated, who can complete tasks without supervision and who can evaluate and manage risks appropriately
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong people management and leadership skills as well as ability to collaborate and influence others, including suppliers.
• Ability to train and support training as well as testing of new solutions
• Strong and current knowledge of technology platforms, and ability to quickly adapt to new software

Furthermore, you:
• Are decisive and have the ability to steer top and bottom-line categories with focus on customer needs and in collaboration with technology and service delivery organizations.
• Have the confidence to bring stakeholders behind a plan, leveraging synergies across different agendas.
• Are comfortable in a scale up environment where product development is incremental, and focus is on growth.
• Are a resilient team player who is goal-orientated and demonstrates a high level of commitment with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Are pragmatic and solution oriented in ambiguous environments, able to think innovatively to solve problems.
