Opportunity


Primary responsibility will be to develop schedule planning to support the route network of OCFO by securing high utilization of OCFO flight schedules in line with the strategic and financial needs of OCFO and Maersk Airfreight business units. The role includes but is not limited to, work closely with internal and external partners to develop schedules to maximum profitability, resolve schedule conflicts that arise in hubs and serve as a primary point of contact for the hubs, carriers and Maersk stakeholders with regards to flight scheduling.·Building and managing relationships with slot co-coordinators throughout Asia Pacific

·Securing and maintaining airport slots for future schedules

·Aligning and managing the communication and approval process between the scheduling and operational departments

·Coordinating data analysis with revenue management to improve revenue generation of different schedule scenarios

·Review of Schedules, Disturbance and Requirements to keep steady solutions for customers

·Determining new routes and bases to add to the network by exploring/implementing new suppliers on Air and Landside

·Performance Review with AOC operators (for example on-time departure etc.)

·Collection of Requirements for all Network HUBs to create common baselines

·Forecasting of current and future operational requirements to align supply/demand

·Building relationships with airports and third parties (regions, industry and trade bodies, etc.)

·Assessing new markets based on strategic fit, financial potential, growth opportunity, risks and possible entry points

·Providing financial forecasts for potential new routes and bases / Building and maintaining financial evaluation tools as required

·Working with the revenue management team to determine amendments to existing routes, frequencies and airports and recommending actions based on the risks and opportunities

·Collaborate with crew resources to incorporate schedule changes to produce more efficient crew utilization

·Managing the base mix cost to ensure it does not exceed budgeted costs Regulatory responsibilities:

·Building and maintaining relationships with applicable CAA’s; Monitoring and negotiating bilateral agreements in relevant markets;

Securing route permits in a timely manner;
