With significant personal responsibility, you will be functionally reporting to Head of Execution & Efficiency Enablement and interact with multiple stakeholders within Maersk, primarily across the various Lead Logistics, Finance, Business Product Owners (BPO), Finance BI and Customer Experience (CX) teams.

Your main responsibility is to analyze and control the costs associated with Lead Logistics and to create and implement global processes to ensure we are protecting our margins. This will happen in collaboration with our Product, Customer experience and Finance teams.

Preferably, we look for a candidate who can be based out of our HQ office in Copenhagen. However, work location can be flexible as well.

Responsibilities

  • Drive overall cost control in Lead Logistics

  • Design and govern processes linked to Lead Logistics margin and cost control

  • Set up structure to Identify and promote best practice in close cooperation with Global and regional Lead Logistics Teams

  • Drive areas for improvement on lowering cost to serve and increased quality levels at global level

  • Engage with the Finance function to drive quality in cost to serve processes on behalf of the Lead Logistics Product Family

  • Drive alignment with Business Product Owners, Finance and Customer Experience departments to deliver roadmap and priorities

  • Be the point of contact to other function within Lead Logistics for driving initiatives linked to cost control processes

  • Support Finance in driving Standardization and automation linked to margin management across the LL products

  • Design and drive governance linked to margin management


What we look for

An ideal candidate should have below qualifications:

  • You have strong project management skills

  • You are a self-starter with a strong driving force, striving for continuous process improvement and wanting to solve problems even if finding answers are not easy.

  • You have Financial Operations experience

  • You excel in stakeholder management, and you are results driven with a strong logical and analytical capacity

  • You are a team player who are used to and enjoy working independently with ability to engage with and influence, guide, and challenge multiple stakeholders.

  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong integrity and a humble personality that goes well with people at all levels in a global organization.

  • You have good understanding of supply chain management solution

  • You are skilled in written and spoken English.
