Manager Network Steering & Controlling OCFO

Opportunity

The Controller looks after the general finances of the OCFO .They will have a great overview and idea of a OCFO financial position and will use this knowledge to create reports and advise on future moves. Responsible for the financial reporting and steering of the OCFO in alignment with FinOps and general finance.·Measure and control success of the Financial steering of the OCFO

·Set up program reporting processes and controlling reports in alignment with Global Controlling, Global IT Planning & Performance Management and other relevant parties

·Support and enable managers and owners and other parties regarding financial reporting and controlling for the transformation

·Compare actuals against business cases, identify reasons for deviations and countermeasures to close gaps together with the project owners; consolidate business cases, support identifying cost drivers and cost reduction potentials and benchmark activities

·Review business cases and provide quality assurance for the approval of related investments; consult in business case creation for projects/measures

·A Financial Controller will work closely with Auditors, Accountants and other members of the finance team to collect, analyse and report on financial information.

·Gathering data and more importantly in transforming this data to meaningful intelligence to steer business decisions, develop forecasts and budgets

·Support the Sales Steering, Process Management and Controlling teams in day to day activities and ad-hoc projects

· Initiate the development of new reports or suggest improvements on current tools and solutions

Skills/Experience:
• Experience within logistics /airline preferred
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to pick up new concepts quickly
• Ability to work independently and under stress to meet deadlines
• Ability to familiarize yourself quickly with new topics
• Excellent understanding of Excel functions and formulas •
