Program Manager- Internal Communications
Reports to Sr Portfolio Mgr, Logistics & Services
Location: Copenhagen, London & East Coast USA

The Business Platforms organization is at the forefront of developing cutting edge technologies to improve the customer’s experience with personalized and automated end-to-end digital journeys, that enable Maersk customers to access standardized products and services seamlessly. The Platforms help enable Maersk’s vision to be the Global Integrator of container logistics, connecting and simplifying customers’ supply chains. Additionally, the team creates the foundation to integrate data, systems, and processes, powered by scalable Digital Infrastructure and APIs.
The Business Platforms Program Manager connects the dots within the Logistics and Services (L&S) team to help develop our broader story within the L&S team and to our cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Sr Portfolio Manager and our senior leadership team to understand high level company strategy and current developments across our global business and translate that into engaging, easy to understand, and compelling internal communications to our full team.
- Write, edit and distribute internal company communications in keeping with brand and business goals (executive communications, strategy communications, new initiatives).
- Partner with the Creative teams on visual internal communication materials.
- Write, edit and distribute internal company communications in keeping with brand and business goals (strategy communications, new initiatives, team newsletter, intranet content, video content, etc.).
- Develop and update centralized communication mechanisms and create library of products for LnS team and cross-functional partners.
- Ensure communications align with and support the company's key business objectives, strategic priorities, mission, values and brand, are accurate, and connect, inform and inspire action for team members at every level.
- Define, monitor, track, measure and report on impact of all internal communications activities.
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally for business.
What you bring
- 5+ years of internal communications or program management experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, or similar
- Clear, modern storyteller. You can identify the crux of our value proposition and simplify the pitch to its most critical and resonant essence in order to scale revenue and enter new markets. You are a great writer who can write clear and compelling messages on all channels — website, keynote decks, emails, etc.
- Superlative communication skills in all forms; ability to communicate clearly to diverse audiences across many formats
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Demonstration of good judgment, tact and discretion when dealing with confidential and highly sensitive information
- Comfortable working with senior executives
- Skilled conductor: You have the cross-functional skills to work across any internal scenario to drive results. You have strong communication skills and have built processes for cross-functional collaboration with sales, product, and customer acquisition. You can identify what’s most important and remove unnecessary complexity.
