Senior Scrum Master

As a Senior Scrum Master at our life science consulting company, you will be responsible for driving agile transformations and leading development teams to deliver high-quality software for our clients. You will partner with customer product owners to prioritize and refine the product backlog, and use your excellent communication and collaboration skills to facilitate team meetings and remove roadblocks. In addition, you may have some commercial responsibility for managing our relationships with clients and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

In this role, you will:

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for client project teams consisting of client project members, NNIT project members or even third party project members
• Coach team members and customer stakeholders in agile practices and principles, including the SAFe framework
• Help teams identify and remove roadblocks and inefficiencies
• Partner with customer product owners to refine and prioritize the product backlog
• Ensure that all team members and stakeholders understand their roles and responsibilities within the SAFe framework
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team
• Understand how to adapt and apply the Definition of Ready (DoR) and Definition of Done (DoD) to the Software Development Lifecycle within life sciences
• Manage commercial relationships with clients, including monitoring project budgets and timelines

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 3 years in a senior role
• Certified Senior Scrum Master (SAFe)
• Experience coaching and leading agile teams through the entire software development life cycle, including working with customer product owners
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with agile tools such as Azure DevOps and JIRA
• Experience with project management, including monitoring budgets and timelines

You will have approximately 45 colleagues in the Project Management team across NNIT - we emphasize teamwork and an open and honest communication approach.
