This Executive Leadership role has end to end strategic ownership of business processes and process lifecycle support for the entire Logistics and Services business.

We are looking for a Head of Data Insights, Reporting and Analytics in the Commercial and Landside business platforms team reporting to the EVP, Chief Product Officer, Logistics & Services. In this role you will cover the entire suite of technology used to power the commercial side of Maersk’s business across both Ocean and Logistics and the Landside business for Maersk. This role will be supporting this entire business producing insights, tracking reports and analytics to contribute towards the growth of both Ocean and Landside businesses. In this role you will need a high degree of business, technical and operational acumen to drive these exciting new initiatives. This role requires strong leadership skills in business analytics, a visionary approach, strong stakeholder management, mentoring junior leaders and strong business judgment. You will be responsible for driving the data insights for the platform organization for the several top company priorities in the Ocean and Logistics business with a particular focus on Maersk's 'transported-by' product suites. You will be coordinating across key partners within product, engineering, science, design, and leadership. You will be working alongside senior platform and portfolio owners with presentations with the seniormost leaders at Maersk in both technology and business.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed and automated reports for weekly business review, Monthly platform review and quarterly reviews for consumption by both platform product owners and by leadership.
• Develop relationships with Global Data Analytics (GDA) and the Chief Data Officer (CDO) to co-develop the roadmap of data pipelines to be used and with platform owners for both data produced for insights/reporting/analytics but also consumption.
• Develop dashboards to drive insights for the business and platforms informing the future strategy and roadmap for the products.
• Build deep relationships with stakeholders in the business, platform, technology, finance and data scientist teams.
• Mentor other junior business and data analysts and support in building a career path while being the champion for data and insights within the business platforms team.
• Inform the prioritization of OP1/OP2 roadmaps by supporting with data and insights to enabling an objective decision.
• Own the vision for use of data and insights within the business platforms organization and extend beyond to the business organizations.
• Work across portfolios to drive product adoption across the portfolio for new releases and build metrics to support for insights and where things are at risk.
• Develop proactive monitoring and alarms and in partnership with technology teams the right instrumentation for operational excellence.
• Driving partnership with universities and other research organizations furthering the use of data, tools and insights within Maersk.

What You Bring:

• Very strong experience in leading analytics and data teams.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering.
• Experience in leading data insights and analytics in highly complex businesses and supporting organizations of size more than $1B revenue.
• Experience in leading the development and adoption of state of the art data and insights tools at an enterprise level.
• Knowledge of advanced analytics tools and experience working with SQL, PowerBI, Data warehouses, Data lakes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to influence both senior leadership and peers.
• Comfortable with international travel up to 30% per annum.

Preferred:

• Prior understanding and experience in logistics and supply chain.
• Passion for delivering customer value, and proven ability to prioritize features based on customer impact.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where tactical and strategic initiatives are driven in parallel.
